Moth in need of help with currencies - from what I gathered, candles are for many things and hearts are for cosmetics. Should I be buying hearts? This lady I was collecting bells for is offering me many such purchases and I am uncertain (I think she is time limited so I don't wanna miss out).

A cap I've just bought at a thrift store - M43-like, austrian flag emblem, the buttons are just decorative (see last pic), some writing on the inside but mostly impossible to read.
