This community is a safe space for those who are in relationships where one or both partners are diagnosed with bipolar 1, bipolar 2 or cyclothymic disorder. This is a sub to share information and build community among a common experience. This is a safe space for SO's to discuss challenges related to mania, depression and rebuilding after an episode. It is equally as important that we focus on self-care and well-being in order to keep ourselves healthy and happy!

I triggered a breakthrough manic episode in my beloved husband. I have BPD.

Welcome to our supportive Peer-Support community, where we come together to share our experiences with Bipolar Disorder. We are a haven for people with Bipolar Disorder (including Cyclothymia and Schizoaffective Disorder) and those on their journey towards a diagnosis to discuss Bipolar-related issues; a community, not just a help page. Be a part of something that cares about who you are. Join us in our discussions, share your story, and let's support each other.

r/BPD is a community of people with BPD (EUPD) and people who know someone with BPD looking for mutual support and resources to help guide them through their journey.

There is so much I need to get out. I triggered a breakthrough manic episode in my beloved husband.

Being in a relationship where one or both partners have bipolar disorder is not easy. This sub is a place that people can come for advice or just to vent so that we do not affect our significant others with our emotions. There are a couple of already popular bipolar subs but having a specific sub just for relationships is important in order to facilitate a community of support. Posts are often about sensitive issues. Please follow our rules and make sure to be supportive.
